After some soul-searching, we realised that our efforts to dress up Jameld with gimmickry were inadvisable. It is, of course, fluffy and cuddly enough to stand up on its own merits, and so for the fourth International Jameld Day (cunningly named 'IJDIV') we dispensed with the spangly gimmicks and aliens and went back to basics: we hired a pub skittles alley for the evening and had a great time chucking heavy objects at other heavy objects.
Here's the poster I sent out. The 'llamas' line was a throwaway comment which rapidly grew into the theme of the evening, as you will see from the next couple of pages...
There really was a website. It's still there, fossilized. I haven't removed it, because it still makes me smile.
